i’ll need to live to be 78 to just get through my bedside table and 734 years old to get through new books on my bookshelves. i obsess about biographies and historical accounts of the last half of the last century. how protest influenced music. how ideas influenced protest. how ideas still change and require protest. i enjoy satire, social commentary, and the iconic people and moments in culture and history and how they are culturally identified by the music of the time. the genesis from gospel to blues to hip-hop and everything since.

endless amounts of very detailed but random film-related knowledge, no space to remember the name of the person who just introduced themselves to me. yes, i will randomly describe a random movie scene that a certain song was used in. i can’t remember to plan my dog’s birthday but i can tell you that Edgar Wright has exceptional movie soundtracks. also – randomly quoting quotes or referencing something from an obscure film from the mid 90s that may or may not actually exist.
